Café 1792 - Bromont

Cute little cafe with indoor and outdoor spaces to sit. The carrot sweet potato ginger soup was delicious. The sweetness of the carrots was perfectly balanced with the sweet earthiness of sweet potato and the heat of the ginger. The croutons were delicious. I loved the art displayed and that there were a couple cozy but airy little rooms where the guests could sit inside to enjoy their soup or coffee once vaccination cards were shown.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant. For my first visit, I found the drink to be overpriced and the sandwich was far from impressive. The woman who prepared my order simply spread some purée and then added cold meat to the sandwich. The bread wasn’t right, and overall, it just didn’t meet my expectations. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to discourage me from returning.

Fantastic service and delicious food! The lemonade was just what I needed after my trip today!

The food and drinks here are fairly pricey, but their macaroons are irresistible, and the hot pralines are perfect for enjoying while reading in the lounge. I highly recommend this spot when they have the medium available.
