The Shore - Brisbane

This is a good surf and turf option with a beautiful view of the Southbank parklands and the river.

On the water side , a great place to eat a perfect steak , I started with oisters and a good glas of beer , after that a great Rib eye steak , medium rare just as I orderd , after dinner toped it of with a good Irish Coffee .

I have high expectations and love food and ingredients that tempt the taste buds and the nose. Did you know our nose has more influence over our food than our taste buds? Yes, it does. Our eyes too. If presentation is ordinary then the consumer feels pretty average and not excited at all. This restaurant ticks all the boxes for me.

Recently went here for a family meal, the service an the staff were attentive, But the food was shocking, The so called Moroccan lamb was made from the poorest and cheapest cut of lamb which was reflected in the taste thats if you could manager to cut the meat, i left my meal uneaten my son however did enjoy the pork. My wife ordered god knows what fish in batter needless to say she also left her meal, my advise to would be dinners is only try this place if you want your guest to know how much better McDonnell's are

I love this place for a nice restaurant that does seafood well. Service is usually pretty good, and everything I've had off the menu has been delicious!
