There's a sushi train inside, as a vegetarian these can be problematic, but these guys are very happy for you to order from the menu. There's some very large overhead air conditioners inside and it can get a little cold, so make sure you have a jacket The a la carte section outside is really pretty and looks over a small japanese garden. Food is always fresh, staff are very helpful. They really look after you if you need gluten free meals and will even bring special gluten free soy sauce.
Went to this place on the pictures and comments made by an Instagram food blogger that I follow, and what a disappointment. Firstly, didn 't quite realise this was a restaurant/sushi train combo, yet her only picture was of the Mago Roll which we ordered and was quite delicious, then we added the small Sashimi platter, about eight small pieces for around $17 and gloriously overpriced, Dragon Rolls, two for $4.50, which were horribly contrived in their ingredients, and some seaweed concoction my dining partner pulled off the conveyor belt, which we weren 't there for any way. Everything on the sushi train looked anemic, created for Caucasian diners with deep-fried Spring Rolls, mayonnaise-slathered and drizzled everything, pale fish, small offerings, and just... I don 't want to eat that sentiments. Lunch for two with just Green Tea was close to $45 and we left wondering whether anyone got the license number of the car that hit us. Moga can do better than this, and should, given the mega rich surrounding the suburb. However, as they say, money can 't buy good taste and perhaps that 's the case here. If you ever find yourself in New Farm around James Street try the Fresh Fish Co. It 's what Moga would like to be, but isn 't, and won 't be.
Wonderful food. We can recommend the Moga rolls and the wagyu. Good wine list and Nice whisky
We ate here for the sushi train. If you want something cold no problem. If you want something hot don't eat from the sushi train! Spring rolls cold. Gyoza like they've come from the fridge. We asked for something to be made fresh the girl chose it from the sushi train and then we had to reiterate making it fresh pretty sure they just reheated it. Mrs ordered a mocktail they charged full price as if it was a cocktail. Summary: Rip Off Hot food is cold Cold food is excellent Whole experience was certainly average
This place is great, if I could eat here every day I would because it's so freaking awesome. Try the duck and beans.
