I was in the restaurant when the incident occurred in calvin rens review, and I need nandos page on this. the kerl (probably calvin) during frustrated, was completely out of control in his abuse of the staff who were in a super busy hurry to serve other customers for lunch. Apart from this episode of customer bulking, we had a great experience that eating and service were great, and we will definitely be back. we then went to the personal, because the unprovoked attack was visibly shaken. pity performance, hurling abuse at a young girl just try to do her job.

We went here for lunch this afternoon. Ordered our food and chose a table in the corner. I checked the seats closest to the wall and there was some food residue on them, so we sat on the other chairs. Decided not to raise this with the staff as the other two seats were fine. We then heard one of the staff members openly insulting us while he was in the kitchen and saying “they should just sit somewhere else they are the only customers in here, who cares if there is something on the seat”. To our disbelief he continued talking (very loudly) about how he hated his job and how he wanted to quit. It was very uncomfortable and we werent sure how to raise with the staff that we can hear them and we also heard their insults at us. We raised it to one of the servers and she apologised. They then turned the music on very loud so we couldnt heard them talking in the back. Its just very inappropriate to have staff talking about their customers within an ears distance…
