Over priced, over cooked steak. Tight fisted on the chips. Steak had already been cooked and was reheated on grill. Too expensive for the quality of food. Given way to many chances. Never again! Creamy prawns were boiled and in a floury sauce. Yuck

We had steak pie and carbonara pasta, a pork and steak and lamb shanks. The taste was either average or quite over powering with strong American style sauces, it's not something we would cook at home or dine out for -it was sloppy.The table had old dry beer on it and hadn't been cleaned despite having booked in advance for an early dinner.The table service was minimal but they always had a smile and were friendly which is important. They didn't have much at all for vegetarians but there was plenty for meat eaters.They have a kids cage that you can lock your monsters in, it was a filthy sty of a place as it was all sticky on the plastic, extremely dusty and poorly lit.The place has potential but it really needs fixing up and less laziness.

The venue is a pub so it is what it is. Not fancy but pleasant enough for a local. Took the In-Laws there in late December 2016 for lunch (4 pax)

We were starving hungry and ordered off the "Lunch time menu" Chicken Schnitzel and to our disappointment the size of the meal was tiny. If you advertise Lunch time menu why make it a small portion. False advertising and very wrong. You should inform patrons that lunch menu are smaller portions. Not happy (Jan) and especially after waiting 45 minutes for our meal.

I've just moved to the area - so was keen to try out Mother's Day came around. We enjoyed steak, ribs, burgers and the pie. All were great value for the prices. It was a really enjoyable time washed down with a selection of James Squire on tap. I'll be back and I'll order the pie next time. It looked terrific! Definite food envy!
