Hub Cafe Kitchen - Brisbane

We were quite underwhelmed. The Eggs Benedict were extremely average. Served on English muffins, not the nice charcoal bread the menu promised. Hash browns had an unpleasant and bitter aftertaste. The omelette with toast was also disappointing, being served with regular bread which looked nothing like sour dough. The coffee was good however. The French toast was also good, but could have come with a more generous serving of berry compote. When I used to come here a few years ago, everything seemed to be nicer. I’m not sure what has happened since then, but I heard new owners have taken over.

The new owners are missing the details John and Sandro achieved. It's all a bit disappointing really.

Very boring, tasteless and small meals. Wouldn’t come back here again. Toast was cold. Atmosphere and service was ok.

I love home at ease this cosy cafe makes me feel. The menu is large catering to whatever craving you have and will keep you coming back. I love that they often healthy dinner options as well.

There is a lot of different options on the menu at Hub Cafe Kitchen. I ordered the pancakes, which came looking quite boring, probably needed a splash of colour maybe some berries or something. Overall the group felt the meals were not great. Might pay for the Hub Cafe Kitchen to reduce the menu items and focus on a few specialties.
