Ginga Sushi - Brisbane

FOOD = 3.0 SERVICE = 3.0 AMBIENCE = 3.0 Okay place for japanese food. Some dishes are done well. Overall flavours are there but nothing spectacular.

Nice tasting. Had prawn dumplings (they were stuck to the bottom of the serving dish but still taste good) Udon noodles soup, chicken karage currry. I was hoping for some extra spice maybe Japanese chilli flakes to add.

I've been here for lunch a lot lately, mostly as the air conditioning is so good. Love the basil salmon, the smokey grill flavour is delicious. Always order the prawn wontons too, they are just great but better with a squeeze of lemon rather than the sweet chilli sauce they give. There used to be buzzers to grab waiters attention, these are gone. The waiters are usually run off their feet but once you get their attention they help you out quickly. Overall- it's well priced and good for a quick lunch/dinner

While I enjoyed my evening, there was really nothing that was 'special', apart from the very cool Japanese lemonade with a funky inbuilt glass marble design. Pricing was pretty acceptable, I don't think it's overpriced, especially in the glitzy emporium precinct. The decor was nice, perhaps slightly tired. The service was also pretty decent with a buzzer to summon the waiter. Not very warm, but it was service with relative precision. I think I might give this place another shot sometime, but certainly not rushing back

Ok sushi at an ok price, nothing great or special though. It's a mixture of sushi train and order from a menu if you wish.
