Cafe XS - Brisbane

What a lovely way to end a busy week with afternoon tea for two at Café XS! We could not go past the German Apple Cake washed down with Chai tea. The cake tasted even better than it looked; sweet apples

Stopped in here many times. The service is always friendly and welcoming. The coffee is made very well and served quickly. The cakes here are my favorite especially the german apple cake.

I Have been going to this cafe and it's 'sister' at Carindale Westfield for many years - great coffee, very reasonably priced tasty food and papers to read. The only problem I have with Indooroopilly XS is since the renovations its proximity to the children's playground drives me crazy with the noise - of course this would be a big plus for people with children so swings and roundabouts! Food always arrives quickly and a large selection of cooked and pre prepared items are available.

Try the chef's tender rib fillet, toasted focaccia with salad

If you want a fairly cheap meal at a reasonable price, Café XS is fine. Don't expect to walk out feeling 100 per cent satisfied. The coffee is average too.
