Australian National Hotel - Brisbane

Vegetables were clearly from a frozen bag from Coles. Burger bun covered in an immense layer of flour, it was like eating it straight from the bag. Beef patties were cheap home brand beef patties and the Chicken Parmigiana had no napoli sauce and was a thin home brand schnitzel. Food was edible but if you're look for a good meal go somewhere else.  Overall atmosphere was fine and classic pub style. Beer was normal but the food was below average pub food and could only be enjoyed drunk.

Perhaps today was a bad day, Idk, certainly was for me going there. Meal was ordinary/substandard, and service the same. I could not recommend this place ever, full stop!

We thought this place was great. The staff were very friendly and the chef was very accomodating when I asked for a gluten free menu. The biggest and best ribs I've seen. Worth every dollar. Would return there anytime.

We decided to go to the triva night on Tuesday and have dinner as well. When looking at the menu there was no vegetarian dishes available. I thought I would ask if they could put something together. The manager in charge said we don't get vegetarians in here and we don't have anything for you to eat!! It's almost in the city. Bad service and a bad attitude. My partner had sliders and he said they were average. This place is not welcoming at all.

Before the big bash we decided to start our afternoon here at the Aussie nash. Good facilities had staff to cater for the cricket supporters that had the same idea, bit smaller than I remember from many years ago but does the job and 2 minute walk to the cricket
