Anouk Cafe - Brisbane

We stopped in for a light brunch and we both had a shakshouka. Great dish. Fresh and tasty! Cozy little cafe and looks like a place well visit again for a bigger meal on our next trip to Brisbane

Just dropped in to the Anouk Cafe in Paddington for wonderful service, coffee and breakfast! We had the 5 spice mince and scrabbled eggs with sides. Both meals beautifully prepared and the service was fantastic. The place was busy for weekday so weekend would even be busier! Great place to catch up for coffee or that late brekky / lunch.

My daughters chose this beautiful cafe in Paddington for my Mother's Day breakfast Celebration and it was one of the better places I have been for breakfast. Great location (parking wasn't as bad as I thought I would be), great old building - the Paddington Apothecary. The cafe is open from 6:30am and it is continuously packed. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a seat but it was worth it. The cafe spills out into the street and has such an electric buzz about it which was great on a weekend, However, would like to come back there on a week day for breakfast and relax and take it all in and not have the rushed feeling like i had on Sunday last due to many people waiting to come in with queues constantly outside the door. It was managed very well mind you and the waiting staff were very attentive and kept you in the loop as to when you would most likely get a table etc. Definately will come back again!

Great service and coffee. Ordered herb rolled omelette with slow cooked duck and asian mushrooms, hoi sin sauce and coriander. Was ok but no herbs in the omelette or coriander to be seen. Just a plain omelette with spring onion. Everyone at our table enjoyed breakfast and coffee

Still craving Asian tastes after recent trip to Vietnam, I wondered if Anouk would be bland. To my surprise, there was a varied menu with the gf spiced cabbage and kim chee dish I chose and enjoyed. Friends liked their mince and eggs. Delicious banana smoothie cooled my palate and coffee very professional. As the chatter grew so did the noise on the wooden floor so I'd suggest the earlier start ( from 6.30am) the better! Street parking available early too but busy by 9am Saturday. Service very friendly and sincere and a return visit will be certain.
