The lunch special offers a variety of food options, with some being better than others. Choices include open grill sandwiches, salt and pepper calamari, steak, lasagne, pizza, and more. You also have the choice between beer, wine, or a soft drink with your meal. However, it's worth noting that different staff members may have varying rules regarding which drinks are included in the special. Despite all drinks being priced at five dollars, one of us was not allowed to have sparkling wine with the lunch special by a different waitress. The food itself is decent overall, with the Marco Polo Open Grill sandwich being a recommended choice.
Wasn't a bad meal and overall quite good value. A little confusion on the orders but the staff were friendly and helpful. Only real complaint was that there was way too much Hollandaise sauce though that is probably more personal preference.
I had breakfast at this restaurant and ordered something quick and easy. I went with the Salmon and scrambled eggs dish and it was absolutely delicious. The meal was great value for the price.
Not sure why the previous review stated this was closed, my husband and I enjoyed lunch here on Aug 8th, there is a lunch, dinner and Thai menu. I had basil and spinach fettuccini which lacked flavour, my husband had the chicken sandwich and fries that he enjoyed, I had a taste and his was definitely the better option. I did very much enjoy the fresh juice, orange pineapple and lime. A little pricey for the portion sizes for a lunch, but the atmosphere was nice and I didn't leave hungry.
This is a little place right next to the Rothbury which seems to offer a plethora of food/drink but for the entire weekend was closed. Perhaps new owners will take it over?
