Really cozy little caffe. several clearly identified vegan options and coffee on vegetable milk.

This caffe does not care about vegans and what they eat. I was there in the last two weeks about 3-5 times. I take my own turmeric mix when I go to caffes and ask them to make it on soy milk. Today they made it honey. I took one, it had so much honey in it. I went and said something to the coworker and she said yes, we're doing our turmeric latte with honey and I said I brought mine on curcuma to which she said I used it. I told her I've been vegan for 13 years and I've been drinking honey. they didn't say anything else. I decided to go and ask her to repay my partner. they have not returned. it's been a very long time since I was so angry. even after a meal home, I can still taste the honey. I have also just found out from my partner that she was milk cheese on our meal at an earlier occasion when we specifically checked that the meal was vegan. Vegan options are delicious and well thought out not just a $20 avo on toast like most cafes atm. Also have vegan croissants. Had the vegan toastie and it was delicious. Excited to come back and try more.

Today they made it with honey. I took one sip, it had sooo much honey in it. I went and said something to the staff member and she said yeah we make our turmeric lattes with honey and I said I brought my on turmeric, to which she said I used that. I told her I have been vegan for 13 years and I just drank honey. They didn’t say anything else. I decided to leave and asked them to refund to my partner. They did not refund. It’s been a very long time since I have been this angry. Even after having a meal at home I can still taste the honey. I have also just found out from my partner that they put dairy cheese on our meal on a previous occasion when we specifically checked that the meal was vegan.
