Previously it was called mercure bregenz. I've been visiting it for 30 years and always loved it. I sometimes felt like a hotel in East Germany before the wall collapsed. the name change came with a dramatic change...for the worse in service, from the reception where I saw a line of 6 people waiting, unless someone at the bar was also to help. the service at dinner is appaling, with a fixed menu that most people don't like. if they want to be told by the waiter sir, they can't change that I saw whole tables standing up and leaving when they saw the menu and were fed up by the aggressive behavior of the waiters. I understand that it is the first season of the newly named hotel during the music festival. Hopefully it's the last in this form, and a couple of guets with whom I spoke had the same opinion. is it the crazy dream of a chef in paris, hoping that a dinig star will be won by name change and will be or her menu be opened without alternative?
