Alte Fähre Cafe-Restaurant - Bregenz

It's a nice place with a good design and a view to the lake, but the service was not really top... However, I spent a fine night watching football!

It was a good restaurant once. I had been happy to test after the reconstruction and see how it has now become. I have to say that I was quite disappointed. the drink of my wife was simply eaten at the first order (of two drinks). we had to ask two times about the menu until one was brought to us, and then no one came to ask whether we wanted to eat or whether we wanted another. After all, that was too much for us and we have made the service aware that we would like to pay to leave it locally. the side table as well as when after good minutes no institutions were made that someone comes to cash out I am finally in to make the cash again aware that we would like to pay. there came the answer from the service we had said earlier we would like to have the bill, that I did not know I must say I am really disappointed, because finally you sit wonderfully at the marina of lochau, you have a wonderful scene with a view over the whole lake and the evening will be avoided, because a service (on the bill manager) does not take care of their guests. so sorry I can't recommend it anymore. once, it used to be a great place for a meal, when by the lake. we wanted to test it now that we live back in the area and it had been renovated. we were sat outside and joined a couple, who are friends of ours. my wife ordered our drinks (two) as i was still currently arranged things at the car and her drink was promptly forgotten. we had planned on having a light dinner but had to request the menu twice before it was brought. after we had a chance to study the extensive menuly we waited futilely for someone to consider we might want to order, or possibly have another drink, as our glasses were gradually getting empty. after about a half hour we decided that a meal was no longer in our time schedule so we requested the bill, as did the table next to us (who had been served.) a good five minutes later still noone arrived to collect the bill, so i went into the restaurant to settle the bill at the bar. i was then apologised to saying i didn’t realize you wanted to pay as well by the same server we had previously informed of wanting to pay, so we could leave, as our children were starting to get hungry. Unfortunately i cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone even it being a fantastic location set at the yachting harbour in lochau with a marvellous view over the lake on a sunny day. it is simply a shame, that a serving attendant (the bill stated manager) is capable of ruining an otherwise wonderful evening.

Zur Küche kann ich mich nicht äußern. Grund: die Kellnerin wies uns zwar Plätze zu, huschte dann geschäftig hin und her, aber eine viertel Stunde immer an unserem Tisch vorbei. Zumindest eine Speisenkarte hätte man sich gewünscht. Nachdem dann bei Gästen, die definitiv nach uns eingetroffen waren, ganz flugs die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen werden konnte, hielten wir einen Lokalwechsel für alles andere als unangemessen.

Mittlerweile schon dreimal hier gewesen, zweimal nur auf Getränke, beim letzten Besuch auch zum Essen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und gleich zur Stelle wenn man etwas braucht! Der Ausblick ein Wahnsinn! Das Essen war auch sehr gut! Hatte eine tolle Gaspacho mit Garnele! Werde sicher bald wieder mal kommen... bei Schönwetter unbedingt reservieren!!

Absolut enttäuschender Besuch.Dreckig, schmuddelig und unfreundliches Personal. Ich hatte mir wirklich mit einer so "geilen" Location mehr erwartet. Gefällt mir nicht!!!!
