I had to have a taste as it arrived and before I knew it, I was half way through the pack. I also bought plain fried tofu which was good too. They have a variety of dried and frozen goods, so I was able to get some staples with my order. Pretty reasonably priced. I would highly recommend supporting this small business who make tofu from scratch. My experience with them has been positive. Although I was not in their delivery area, they made a detour (during lockdown) and delivered to my home. Communication is great. Who wouldn't want fresh tofu?! I tried the freshly fried mushroom and vermicelli tofu at this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. The dish was delicately salted and cooked to perfection. I also purchased some unfried tofu to enjoy later. In addition to these options, the shop offers a wide variety of frozen and canned goods for sale, as well as Vietnamese takeaway meals such as bun bo hue and pho. Highly recommend checking out this place for a tasty and convenient dining experience.
Soyfoo in Braybrook is not your typical tofu shop. Tucked away in the industrial area off Ballarat road, this hidden gem may seem simple, but the food is truly exceptional. While there is a small indoor seating area for dining in, most items are also available for takeaway. The standout dish is the fried tofu, offered in both hot and cold options. We tried the mushroom and lemongrass cubes and they were delicious - we will definitely be returning for more.
Don't miss out on trying all of their homemade tofu - it's absolutely delicious!
Soyfoo is not your average tofu shop, located in the industrial area of Braybrook on Ballarat Street. Although the restaurant may seem nondescript from the outside, the food is worth trying. While there is a small indoor seating area for those who prefer to dine in, most items are available for takeaway. The roasted tofu is the star of the show, served hot or cold. We tried the mushrooms and lemongrass cubes, which were delicious - we will definitely be returning for more.
