The broth was savoury and the tofu was perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy inside. It was well balanced with the right amount of vegetables and meat!<br/ Stir fried chicken noodles: MASSIVE portion! Definitely worth the money, and it was so flavourful. You could decide what noodles to have too. <br/ We also ordered chicken rice which was moist and delicious
Great food, great portions, great service. We went for their Thursday lunch special $9.90) and we were served with generous portions. We ordered the Char kuay teow, beef brisket noodle and Ipoh ricenoodle soup.
When Sri Mahkota first opened, it was excellent. Over time it’s actually gotten better. Real Malaysian food, very fresh and delicious. The serves are large so come hungry.
Have been here four times now in the last two months since changing owners (sometime earlier this year). <br/ <br/ The portions at this place is really big that my partner and I always have takeaway for lunch the next day. Two dishes is enough for 4 servings. The hofun dishes are quite good with the wok smell you need in stir fry dishes. <br/ Hot teh tahrik is also really good, although it did keep my partner and I up all night. so beware of drinking it for dinner if youre easily affected by caffeine! <br/ <br/ Overall, decently good food for nights off from cooking dinner at home.
