The reviews above are completely false, especially from the person named Lili who I believe is the woman who works at the restaurant. The ambience of the place is horrible, makes you feel uncomfortable and unwanting to make any sounds. But that’s not the worst. Everything in the place is microwaved. Including the rice. How do I know? You can see into their “kitchen” and see when they microwave frozen rice and eggs and meat. The food was still cold when it came out to us. This is a timely reminder to all people that you must be selective of the restaurants you visit many are still cutting corners by selling frozen food, with nothing cooked in store and a huge freezer out the back. They didn’t even make the effort to hide the microwave and the sounds of constant beeping. There is no doubt why we were the only people there on a public holiday and right through the lunch period. Avoid at all costs, and whatever the lili person comments as a reply do not believe it.
It's a very good hand make Noodles their soup and food are delicious and healthy and nature,it's the best Noodles in Brisbane . The soup is original,the waiter s are amiable and friendly . This restaurant environment is clean and bright.
I went to this place last week. The thing makes me feel really bad was the environment in the store. It was day time but don’t quite understand why they didn’t turn the light on. That makes people don’t feel like to eat. The noodle was called handmade but was hard to chew. Don’t want to go back again.
Explored this new eatery for lunch yesterday. Located among so many competitors in Pineland Plaza, certainly the owners must have their confidence. Being at the previous spot of Sam’s Kitchen which was visited within one year (may be sold or closed down? , I wish all the best to this noodle place. Read the menu, they are serving dishes as announced to be ChongQing Style noodles. Well, l have been to ChingQing quite a few times but did not have street-food style noodles there so I could not compare. However, my taste buds would tell if the noodles are good or not. Ordered the fish with pickled vegetables (it is written in Chinese as Coral Trout fish fillet but they serve Basa fillet instead, the owner should correct this misleading and the Druken Pork Belly noodles $5.00 extra for a side dish of pig trotter. Noodles came in with not a big portion in size but then I realized that they offer free top up for noodles. The broth of pork belly noodles was balanced with right amount of saltiness and we could taste the traces of alcohol in those well stewed pork belly. No greasy feeling and the pork belly texture was marvelous. The side dish of pig trotter melted in my mouth and I urge Joe Khoo to go for it and he definitely would enjoy the trotter very much. The broth of fish noodle was slightly spicy with good portion of fish fillet and I particularly loved the dry bean curd that accompanied with the soup. An extra comment is their home-made noodles, they are al dente and smooth. Overall, it should have the potential join the competitive market at Pineland. Let us observe ow it is going.
