SERVICE Friendly to neutral service 4 stars instead of 5, due to the fact they delay service with lots of idle chit chat with regular clients at the counter. Both times, I waited patiently for the regular to order, talk, fidget at the coffee machine. Thankfully, their coffee is excellent. COFFEE Made fresh and delicious SOCIAL DISTANCING Excellent No service until person at the counter stops talking and moves away....
Great coffee with the option of some huge servings or coffee.
After I brought the jaffles from the Marty’s Roast Joint, the next a-must action is to revisit this espresso, which just located next door.<br/ It should be my fourth annual visit since 2017. I witnessed its success and believe that the current owner should not be the same as four years ago. Having said that I am more than happy to support the current one because his passionate attitude.<br/ While I was waiting for my order, I noticed that he could remember the orders of all regulars before they placed their take-away orders. No wonder he needs an assistant to run the cafe now.<br/ <br/ Previous rating: Sep 2019 4/5; Oct 2018 4/5; May 2017 4/5
A wonderful little establishment in the heart of industrial Rocklea. Luke makes a wonderful cup of coffee served with a smile and witty banter. The muffins, sandwiches, and danishes are freshly made and competitively priced. He has a good selection of American soft-drinks as well and eclectic shop furnishings. Its well worth the drive.
Enjoyed a decent flat white here although it was a take away- smooth blend served by a cheerful barista. Didn't have time to try those great looking muffins (have actually never seen any so big) Oh not to forget that wonderful home made apple pie. Was a deep dish type (the kind that Mother used to make) the barista tells me an English lady down the coast makes most of his delicious looking treats. So that in itself will have me returning to try them out at a later date
