This was a quick stop for lunch for us. Been here before and thought it was just average like most other sushi places. Not our favorite place for sushi. Staff were friendly. Service was quick.
Ok so we eat a lot of sushi and have done our research... The number one thing about sushi is it should not smell like fish!!! You should be able to get your nose within touching distance and not spell anything. Unfortunately this is not always the case with this place. We eat sushi about a couple times a month and have done so for 12 years and this is the only place we have been that we could not eat the sushi due to the smell of fish on it. Yuk! That means they are serving old fish! It's raw...that makes it dangerous. We tried it again after we had not been there for a few years and we had the same problem. Rolls are unimaginative and heavy on mayo and other sauces some are exactly the same rolls with different names. Some staff are great and others not so great. There are far better places like Sushi Mountain in whitby.
I don't want you to see a 5 star and expect something out of this world amazing, but for a small town sushi place, it is perfect.
All you can eat food for a good price at lunch! Dinner is quite a bit more expensive & not a whole lot more variety compared to lunch. Food was hot, tasted good except for chicken wings in the photo below. Wait time was okay for all you can eat, waiters were a little pushy and felt rushed. Overall a good lunch stop, it's close & convenient for myself & boyfriend.
