Gerard's 1907 Tavern - Bowling Green

Short answer: Great location, atmosphere, food, and service. Long answer: The menu is small enough that you know each dish is intentional and made with care; yet there is a good variety in the items they offer. Whether you're looking for cocktails with appetizers, or something a little more substantial (I recommend the wiener schnitzel) this place is excellent for a date, business dinner, or outing with friends. A+

Amazing food, exceptional service, and a fantastic atmosphere! I stopped by with friends and we enjoyed the queso with pita chips, the BBQ burger special, a house salad, mashed potatoes, and a club sandwich. For dessert, we shared a delicious brownie. Everything was served promptly, our drinks were always topped up, and our server was friendly and attentive. If we're ever in the area again, this will definitely be our go-to spot!

We visited the restaurant on a Thursday evening and enjoyed a lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff and absolutely fantastic food. We started with crab cakes as an appetizer, which were exceptional. My companion ordered the ribeye for dinner, and it was cooked to perfection. I opted for the filet mignon, and it was magnificent. For dessert, we indulged in vanilla crème brûlée and a chocolate brownie. Oh my goodness, they were delicious! I highly recommend this place. Considering what you pay elsewhere (like next door in the 'cap' basement), the quality of food here is far superior!

I discovered this restaurant online while searching for a birthday spot for my boyfriend that would also cater to my vegetarian needs. When we arrived, I noticed that the veggie wrap was unfortunately no longer available on the menu. I was a bit worried, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and still prepared a veggie wrap for me, which turned out to be delicious. Meanwhile, my boyfriend enjoyed a burger that he couldn't stop praising! While great food is important, outstanding service truly makes a difference!

Our food was fantastic. I really loved the fusion of flavors on the tuna special. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked, some thing we have not experienced outside of a steakhouse in Bowling Green. I highly recommend Gerards
