Melissa's Country Cafe - Bowling Green

Just minutes outside Bowling Green, this is where the locals eat delicious, homemade food. We ate a late breakfast on a Saturday. Biscuits were fluffy. Home fries expertly seasoned. Tasty bacon! So much better than a corporate Cracker Barrel-like restaurant. We’ll be back!

We had dinner on fish Friday and our service was quick, friendly and enjoyable. Everyone’s catfish was delicious, sweet potatoes well cooked through, Lima beans flavorful, mac cheese cheesy and delicious!

Awesome food and a great country atmosphere! Specials everyday and lots of delicious things to choose from on the menu. This is where the locals come to eat so you KNOW it's good! The owners (Melissa and Morgan) do a great job of giving back to and serving the community. Friendly staff. Chat awhile or enjoy a quick meal...your choice. You won't be disappointed!

I had a salad with Grilled Chicken. It was excellent My friend had a sloppy Joe sandwich with Cheese and a side salad. They were great for her. She had some Strawberry Shortcake homemade. I took home a piece of it as well for my husband and she also took home another piece of homemade chocolate cake ! Very pleased

Excellent food. Loved the atmosphere and down home welcome feeling. Our neighbor has suggested eating there to us several times and we finally got the time to go. Melissa's had recently done the catering for my husband's job and he said the food was great. We will definitely be back.
