Albany's Steak House - Bowling Green

We've never visited this restaurant before, but I decided to check it out for lunch. The service was excellent, and the food was served hot and fresh. The spicy fingers are indeed SPICY! The chicken wings were fantastic!

I really enjoyed the tea! The service was excellent, and our food was served just at the right time. For appetizers, we had cheese sticks and broccoli bites. The salad that came with our NY Strip and Sirloin was fantastic, and the baked potatoes were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Each time we visit BG, we try a different restaurant, but we will definitely be coming back here again. We were very impressed!

The prime rib, roasted potatoes, and salad were excellent. I ordered the cheesecake with strawberry glaze, as mentioned on the menu, but they informed me that they didn't have the strawberry glaze available.

Came during the slower time, service was quite standard. Prime Rib was thin and a bit dry but still tasty, frits are made in the house and taste amazing!

I think the Albany Steakhouse is misnamed, it feels more like a diner. Low mood lighting, Mom and pop service, food was great, but not fancy. I ordered water with lemon, they don't have lemon. I wasn't made aware of my server's name, but I get the idea they work there day in and day out. Go for the food, the prices are low, don't go for the atmosphere, if you walked in to this restaurant and there was nobody there, you'd think it was abandoned.
