Six Acres Restaurant - Bowen Hills

Being in a central cosmopolitan location you will enjoy this bar/ restaurant. close to the Royal function centre so highly recommended if attending a nearby function for pre or post dinner drinks. Burgers are good, but a real winner with drinks is the platter of cheeses and cold meats. Cocktail range good. Indoor and outdoor areas.

Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant - the food was nice and the staff were great. I was especially impressed that the chef would cook nice fresh eggs of your choice for brekkie - most places that have buffets have rubbery old eggs that have been sitting there for an hour. Like the rest of the hotel they offer a great service with a smile.

Our Lunchtime Burgers were satisfying, with the Chef preparing an egg instead of the bacon, upon request. We would prefer a better quality tea, tho' being a popular "bar" did not expect the tea to be of a high standard.

The staff were very friendly and attentive to the customer needs. The location is perfect and overlooks the RNA show grounds. The music was well suited to the more mature of the clientele, but a good mix to also be acceptable to a younger crowd. The food was well suited for a bar environment and priced competitively. An overall great experience.
