Lucky's - Boulder

I visited a charming bakery with a variety of vegan options, but was disappointed to find that all the vegan choices were also gluten-free. I tried a curry biscuit and a strawberry doughnut, both of which were dense and had a sandy/gritty texture. While they might be suitable for some, they didn't quite meet my expectations. I realize that bakeries often try to cater to different dietary preferences, but I have found that gluten-free options are generally not to my liking. I must admit that I didn't take the employee's recommendation (which included the blueberry oat muffin and tahini brownie) so the disappointment was partly my own fault.

I enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant and the limited vegan options are consistently good. I do wish there were more choices available. The staff is friendly and the coffee servings are generous. I plan on visiting the restaurant again while running errands nearby, but it is not worth making a special trip.

This bakery offers vegan options such as tahini brownies, cupcakes with rotating flavors, and savory biscuits (my favorite is the curry). They also have muffins and other vegan treats available. Make sure to arrive early as the vegan products tend to sell out quickly. I wish they had more options! Everyone in line around me was ordering the vegan items. Definitely worth a visit!

They have a vegan donut! (Why is vegan donuts found so hard in Boulder.... lol. this was the most crisp donut ive ever (on the outside, but it was really good. not like a traditional donut, though and piety inside. went back the next day for a scorpion and that was also good, a little crooked. they have a nice amount of vegan options
