We had the most incredible light lunch today. Delicious, amazing friendly service and comfortable setting, lounging on big couches overlooking the pools and grassy courtyard. Big tasty fish cakes, a Greek salad and a cheese plate, followed by the lightest gorgeous orange and almond cake with Chantilly cream and a scoop of florentine ice cream? Always great food. Also bought the best wholewheat bread, olive oil and Gorgonzola cheese to bring home.

This is by far my most favorite place to go. Love the food. Chef Frans is world class, the staff are amazing (Bradley's my favorite). It's home from home. No trip to the Cape should ever be without a trip to Gabrielskloof

A great vineyard and tasting room, fantastic wines across the range plus the estate produced olive oil. Combined within a relaxed and stunning setting, plus a great lunch venue with a range of courses to suit all. This Bot River location in the Cape Overberg is well worth a visit.

Delicious food and very good wines. Staff were friendly and efficient at both the tasting room and restaurant. Lovely views. A great place to stop in the middle of nowhere or a great destination. Will be back when fields are green!
