The fish was super vibrant and fresh. It was also bigger than we expected, and was definitely a good portion size for 2 people. If there was a chicken sushi included and the green tea was stronger (was a bit diluted) I definitely would rate Sapporo a 5.<br/ <br/ The lady working was very nice and attentive to us. We also were going to order more dishes (we didn't know how big the sushi boat was) and she was very kind in letting us wait to see the sushi boat first and then deciding if we still wanted extra. She offered to cancel these as we over ordered we really appreciated this!<br/ <br/ It definitely seems like this is the go to place for Japanese in Mitcham. I can see why! Thank you for having us.
As soon as we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming. Andrew, a young server, provided excellent service and was very attentive. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavors and reasonably priced. Our first visit had some seating limitations, but we will definitely be coming back in the future.
Phenomenal sushi service was great as soon as you step into the door and attentive throughout the dinner. The boat of assortment sushi was so pretty and everything tasted so so fresh! Tempura was light and crispy, the batter very thin. You can tell that the sushi chef takes pride in the food that he makes, everything looks amazing. Would definitely recommend this place, I will be coming back for sure !
I had a fantastic experience last night at this restaurant. The service was incredibly friendly, the layout of the restaurant was well-done, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Super busy on a weekend night, Sapporo seems to be a local favourite in Mitcham. It's not hard to see why. Casual, down-to-earth and tasty Japanese food that will keep everyone happy.<br/ <br/ We started off with ox tongue, grilled eggplant and fried oysters. Skilfully executed, with flavours that hit the spot. The sushi boat acted as the centrepiece of our meal, both figurative and literally speaking. Filled with fresh sashimi and sushi, this one is made for sharing. Also delicious was the soft shell crab roll. The soft shell crab was fried to crunchy perfection, and the sushi rice held itself well.<br/ <br/ We ended our meal with desserts, and amongst the 4 flavours of ice cream that we tried, the black sesame and red bean was my favourite. The cookie crumble added a delightful crunch to the ice cream, such a simple but effective idea.<br/ <br/ My friends and I had a very filling and satisfying meal, thank you!<br/ <br/
