I always take this as a good sign that it's packed with hungry locals. I was greeted by the barista and manager which was nice. We quickly ordered coffees and our breakfast - myself and my son ordered the "Big Reunion" breakfast while our guest ordered the Eggs Benedict. The meals came out reasonably quick and were very delicious, the pork and fennel sausage the pick of the bunch. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and prices were very reasonable. No doubt you've been here if you're a Surrey Hills local, however I'd definitely recommend you stop by here if you're in a surrounding suburb or just passing through.
Saturday lunch out is a ritual we really enjoy and this week we tried the Reunion Cafe in Surrey Hills. The staff were great and the food was excellent, but we just didn't really connect within the vibe; not sure why, but some places you feel like you fit in and some you don't. However, would highly recommend these guys based upon the food and service. Maybe we'll try a slower day/time and see if we feel more at home.
Absolutely beautiful food, so much so I would give this restaurant 5 out of 5.From the entree to the main you would be overseas to beat this food. The staff are absolutely brilliant with their fantastic service and advice, again 5 out of 5.This is the second night we had a dinner their over the 4 nights we spent in Warnambool. My advice to anyone who wants to try the most beautiful and scrumpeous meal I recommend to everyone to start with the The chef's tasting plate for two, you will die for the crickets !!!!Wait for an half an hour before ordering the mains, and getting to know each other then order the mains. I can recommend all the mains but over the two nights we were there I had the American chicken on the first night, brilliant. Last night I had the prawns and bacon spaghetti, again you will die for.CheersKevin
Caught up for brunch with a long time friend at this beaut and very fashionable eatery. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was divine. This part of Surrey Hills is chic and very popular on weekends so get in early - parking can be a challenge but there is a train station within 100m.Definitely will go again..
I arrived earlier than my friends and was offered a coffee straight away. So that was nice. Some places just let you sit and wait for everyone to arrive before asking.I ordered poached eggs on toast, cannot do much with them, so not a real challenge.Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere about the place.
