Cafe Klint - Bornholm

This is one of our favorite places in Gudhjem. Nice view of the harbour and at the same time quality food. The service is outstanding with a smile and just a place where you know you are welcome. Good place to eat with kids as the menu have many different choices. I can warmly recommend!!!

And generous portions as well. We had to order and pay for the drinks and food by the counter, so I think this is the normal way in this cafe.

We visited Cafe Klint in April 2019. Not impressed by the service or the quality of food for the price. We spent over 600Kr on lunch and were shocked after asking for a glass of tap water for a child that they want to change for that as well! I understand if we had just ordered drinks but when you order food and drinks and just want a glass of tap water for a child it seems quite unreasonable! Find another cafe/restaurant!

Cozy place with nice view, friendly staff, quick service, and good quality food. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had I read the other reviews I might have skipped the place. My experience was different and in fact a very good one. The location is excellent, just in from of the harbour, and we had a quick bite while waiting to embark on the M/S Thor. I had a smoked salmon open sandwich, which was absolutely perfect. A lot more salmon than bread, and the bread itself was excellent. You just need to order at the bar, but I found service quick and prices OK for the spot.
