We had a great pizza at La Terrazza, great selection of pizzas and other dishes. Only set back was the knives were blunt and difficult to cut. Pizzas themselves were really good, local wine and beers.Well priced, very busy so book ahead.
This is a local place with great food and very friendly people. You can have a lot of different pizzas and of course some pasta. We decided to go for the...
The food was very tasty so we went there a couple times and haven’t been disappointed. Each time we went to the back restaurant which is a nice patio under some palm trees. The staff seems to speak only Italien but we found ways to communicate.
La Terrazza is a family run business by two brothers and their father before them. There are two restaurants at this location: the front is for meals but not pizza, the back is for pizza and other dishes. Both restaurants are worth going to, but open at different times. The pizzeria is great to go to on a summer’s night as there is an open garden area at the back, it is well lit and there is a buzzing atmosphere. One can also sit inside the pizzeria on a chilly evening. The service is good and the prices are very reasonable. Their table wine, red and white is good enough for us. We have been going to La Terrazza for several years as we live in the area. It is on the main road to Lucca and on the edge of a town called Valdottavo. The service is prompt, the food has never disappointed us and the price is very reasonable. It is a popular place for truckers and parking is fairly easy. The restaurant boasts a mixed cliental of locals, tourists and truckers. There is an open fire for meat, the service is prompt and at lunch time there is a fixed ‘pranzo lavoro’ on offer for €10. One should check out their opening times as they both vary.
