Ryu - Bondi Junction

I quickly sneaked in for a quick bite while waiting for the Mrs..... one word can describe my experience Yummy <br/ <br/ I was surprised how good and tasty Ryu was.<br/ <br/ Staff friendly, food fantastic I couldn’t fault the dishes I had.<br/ <br/ Will be back for round 2 with the Mrs :

Food delicious, service good. They have a 2 way radio system happening but it didn 't stop the fact that I had to wait to order a drink for 10 minutes. The place is quite chaotic. I asked for a quiet table and the waiter said there isn 't such a thing. Fair enough we are in the middle of a 'beehive ' of a mall. I would absolutely come back. The food was fresh and delicious. My only suggestion more smiles and continuity of service. Other than that great job team Ryu.

For a quick and clean lunch after uni, we headed to Westfield Bondi Junction and decided to try Ryu, a sushi train on the top level. We arrived fairly late, so there wasn’t a lot of variety, but all of our favourites were on the train, so we picked 5 dishes! I had the Salmon and Avocado with both white and black rice. The white rice variety was delicious and had plenty of fillings, but the black rice variety was so tasty, as it was freshly made, and the rice was more flavoursome.

Beautiful setting, so welcoming and light. I absolutely love the appearance of the restaurant. As for the sushi- it was very fresh and tasty, made right on the spot infront of me. Staff were very attentive and catered to my needs and even custom made my sushi the way I liked it. Lovely, fresh food at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be going back here! Turns lunch into an occasion!

Probably the freshest sushi I have eaten since I've been here. Although the choices were fairly limited, I was super excited to see tofu sushi on the train! Mind you, we did done here very early at around 5pm so I'm sure the choices and variety would be better later in the night. Very generous portions and very well priced between $3-$7 plates on offer. I had a tofu sushi plate, salmon plate and chicken- each no more than $3.80 each. Very affordable with good, friendly service.
