The menu offers both local and international wine by the glass or bottle, each wine comes with single line of description giving you a quick insight to its tasting notes. There is also a handful of liqueurs and spirits listed on the gold menu pages, but you'll have to ask the waiter about beers.
Last week Alex Harmon trotted off to this little Bondi spot... The name might suggest prohibition, but their philosophy is bohemian: fabulous red lighting, nude art and intimate space with food to be shared. It looks like the kind of place you 'd come for a nightcap, but I recommend you make a night of it. The food is a fusion of tapas and mezze plates; go for the Chicken Liver Pate $12) with sourdough bread. It 's Moroccan flavour balances well with the sweet and sour onions on the side. The Mushroom Medley $11) is soaked in Middle Eastern spices mixed with crunchy pine nuts. I can 't put my finger on the cheese 'Spanish sheep milk cheese ' I am informed. Such a little gem. This place hums with intimate, genuine goodness. A really impressive wine list with some different drops by the glass. Authentic, attentive service from people who clearly CARE about what they've created. I only tried two tapas, olives and beautifully waxy jamon with excellent pickled veggies. When even simple plates like these have me saying wow, I know the rest of the menu would amaze. A sweet spot.
Bondi finally has a great little bar. Loved this place so much I went twice last weekend. its small but the service is amazing and we didn't have to wait. loved the wine list and small plates, had the corn, potatoes and Chorizo...yummmm. Perfect hideout in winter. Brekkie looks amaze something to try for next weekend!
Small piece of sky in Bondi. Great food, beautiful people, melt the stress in the most relaxing small spot. The wine also helps. All dishes are unique flavoring sequences.
