Pompei's - Bondi Beach

The reviews we read before we went there were rather too favorable for the experience we had. The place is somewhat overrated. The service was chaotic and the waitress would forget immediately what we asked for so I would have to go to the counter and ask again and bring it myself to the table (simply: parmesan cheese for the pasta... She was nice, though just not professional enough. Overall: not bad but nothing memorable by far.

Keen to show some friends from the UK the best of Bondi and Adriano was able to help with an outdoor table for 8 at very short notice. Always a great vibe... Thanks so much

Food was excellent and good value for money. My only comment was some of the glasses had to be returned to be be rewashed and when the waitress brought out our (home made) birthday cake, she left it in the box .. we had to remove it, light the candles etc.. small issues but these are the nice touches ..overall lovely evening.
