A Tavola - Bondi Beach

My mum and I tried their Darlinghurst location and we loved their ragu pappardelle. So with a visit to their Bondi beach location with my husband, dad and son in tow, they all decided to get the pappardelle and I opted for their seafood linguine this time. When seated, we were given complementary herb focaccia bread with chilli oil to dip which was pillowy soft. It was so good we wanted another serving and they were very friendly and had no issues with that. We actually went to a nearby bar and had drinks before so we didn't try any of their wines but shared their calamari and mixed salad. We found the food to be delicious and as we were dining early, we were well looked after by the friendly staff. I thought the seafood linguine was a tad salty for my taste but it was still delicious and I managed to eat some of my sons pappardelle so I was very full.

Opted for the calamari fritti, pappardelle ragu and their specialty 4 layered dessert.  Real authentic Italian food which brought me immediately back to when I was enjoying lunch in Siena, Italy. Entree and desserts were amazing, but the standout was the pasta - absolutely delish!

This place has never let me down. I love it in fact. Expect to spend big but worth every penny!! Food is great and the service is constantly exceptional. Ive eaten here 5 times...

In amongst the bustling streets of Bondi is a fantastic Italian restaurant called A Tavola on Hall st. we had lunch there a few days ago and can't wait to go back. The service was first class and helpful ( Italian speaking waitresses) which makes the whole experience that more believable that you could be in Italy. I had the snapper fillet which was cooked to perfection with asparagus and orange beetroot topped with I believe a basil based sauce. Just superb!. My wife had the squid ink pasta with fresh seafood and the taste was again perfect. There were washed down with an expensive Italian rose prosecco . What more could one ask for. Suggest you get down there and enjoy a little piece of Italy in Bondi.

A Tavola is top quality Italian dining. Came here for a bday celebration and the service was fantastic. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We practically ordered everything on the menu. All the pastas were fresh and the flavours were so different with each dish. Everything was delicious and will definitely need to come back soon.
