The restaurant with view of the georgesee. service was exceptional and eating was great (we share the chef cut (steak). quiet jazz music in the background and very attentive staff. we will definitely go back.
Everything about this restaurant is exceptional except the food.
The food wasn't bad per se but it was so overpriced it was hard to enjoy it. A bowl of fettucine with mushrooms and a few pieces of duck confit- $48! I get it, this is a tourist town but our experience this year with the area restaurants in general was high prices for just ok food. Wine prices 8-10 times the price of the bottle in the liquor store and cocktails $15-25 just take the fun out of it for us. We had a rather poor experience here 2 years ago but decided to give it another chance. It was better but I don't see us going back again any time soon.
My wife and I love the food at the Château. The service is also fantastic.
