Macdonalds - Bolsover

The breakfast at this restaurant was terrible. We ordered a double sausage and egg muffin, and it was terrible - the egg was rubbery. The bacon and egg muffin was equally unpleasant. This is not acceptable food and should not be served.

There are times when this restaurant is fantastic, but other times they make mistakes and don't get my order right, especially when I customize my burgers. Occasionally, the food is cold and unappetizing. However, when they do get it right, the food is really delicious.

We frequent this establishment often because they are usually quick and precise. However, there was a mix-up with the coffee lids yesterday which resulted in me mistakenly drinking a cappuccino instead of a latte, causing me to burn my mouth and throat. Despite this occasional mishap, our orders are typically excellent 9 times out of 10.

Called in for a quick bite, wish we hadn’t. The fries were hot but the burger seemed like it probably sat out for a while, luke warm but I ate it anyway, I was that hungry. The apple pie was cold and the discard time was 50 minutes before I had ordered the food. I politely returned it to the counter to be told that the time marked on it doesn’t matter, and they are fine cold. Why would I order a hot apple pie unless I want it hot. The chap then asked if I wanted a replacement, the cold out of time one or something different. I asked for a replacement and was told they would cook one then. It all seemed to much trouble and I won’t be returning if that’s there attitude.

Away from home, so another town another McDonald's. Breakfast this time was ordered via the robot til. Double sausage egg mcmuffin, hash brown and a flat white coffee for just over £4, pretty good value. The service was fast and pleasant by a human. Good place, getting out of the car park can get busy.
