Very enjoyed our unplanned visit to lunch! I had the ribeye steak and it was delish! my mother had the smoked Schellfisch special and gave him a solid 9/10! have they already recommended the rest of the family and we will be back!

Always wonderful eating in the royal oak but yesterday was absolutely great! we had the duck special and it was delicious! great pub and great eating every time.

Both times we have visited the staff have been so friendly and accommodating. Sunday lunch was perfect and good value for money and the staff were brilliant with our 2 young children. Great range of food options on the menus (adults and children’s). We held...our daughters christening party here at the weekend and organising from start to finish was so easy and everything we requested was perfect, we opted for the afternoon tea package and the staff also included a children's buffet and had a dietary requirement and an allergy to work around. So many of our guests commented on how much they’d enjoyed the food and would be back to visit again soon (as will we as this is such a lovely place
