Tacos Chingones - Bocas del Toro

The restaurant has changed its name to La Taqueria, making it hard to locate. However, they still offer plenty of vegan choices and the food was delicious! I ordered the burrito and will likely return for a quesadilla. They now accept card payments, no longer cash only.

Had burrito, quesadillas and fried avo. All was fine but would probably try somewhere else before going back (like BDT eatery!

Was happy to have a place with vegan cheese, but you couldn’t really taste it. Made better quesadillas with guac at our hostel the night before. Cute place tho!

There are only a few vegan options available, but they do have vegan cheese. I ordered the tacos with chips and guacamole and highly recommend them for $7.

I absolutely loved the tacos topped with beans and fresh sides (such as pico de gallo and pickled onions) at this restaurant! They really nailed it with their homemade corn tortillas and fresh ingredients, including the option for vegan cheese. Although my taco was a bit pricey at $2.50, it was definitely worth it for the delicious flavors.
