Upland Bloomington Brew Pub

We had our first meal after moving to Bloomington, and it was fantastic! The hot chicken sandwich was perfectly fried and had the right level of heat. We also ordered the potato salad, which was delicious and not overly pickled. The Hoosier Classic Tenderloin Sandwich was another highlight; it had a delightful crunch from the crispy breading on the pork. The combination of onions and sweet peppers added a lovely sweetness that balanced the fried coating. The fries were decent—nothing too remarkable, but still good. The pickles that accompanied the sandwiches were somewhat lackluster, but the quality of the sandwiches made up for it! The service was quick, and our server was very friendly. We sat on the patio, which offered a lovely ambiance. Overall, a great dining experience!

The blackberry beer is amazing. Very very sour but very good. I had fish and chips it’s really nice. The burger my friends had was very spicy but worth to try!

This was our first time eating here, and as an overall experience it was really good. The Two of Tarts beer (sour) is a favorite of mine, and is incredibly refreshing with spicy food. The salad I had was the Upland House Salad with a Thai Chili dressing. My only complaint with the salad were the dressing options, if you prefer traditional salad dressings like ranch, blue cheese, or thousand island, you will be the best off with the buttermilk dressing, everything else was a spicier sauce. They had plenty of vinaigrette options though. I ate the Spicy Chicken sandwich and it was amazing. You could tell they'd fried it in house, and the pickles on top helped to balance out the spice from the Nashville hot sauce. We also got a Habanero pulled pork sandwich, which tasted as the name suggests. Delicious, but extremely spicy! If you're a fan of heat, Upland delivers.

They have some free parking for dining guests. They were using a text messaging system to let us know when our table was ready. We could get a drink while waiting to be seated. We wanted to wait for outdoor seating. Our server was nice. The Plum burger was a nice and different fat burger. We did have to ask for extra sauce. The bacon they used on the burger was amazing. The fries were yummy and crispy and didnt need ketchup (got some anyway of course). Of you like Pilnser and light Ales, the Campside Ale on tap is good.

Upland provided the cocktails, wine, and beer for my wedding, and they were absolutely fantastic to work with! Jessica was exceptionally helpful and patient as I navigated the guest count, the selections I wanted, and the timing of everything. They collaborated with us for our wedding at The Wilds Venue in Bloomington. One of my favorite touches was the non-alcoholic spritzers they provided for our guests before the ceremony to help them cool off in the summer heat. Jessica offered a wide variety of options to fit my vision! The bartenders and the overall service exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with!
