Pool Lobster At Goldthwaite's

We love this place, every time we?re in Maine, we make sure to visit them and have a lovely lunch there! The store is also amazing, absolutely love it!!

My family has been vacationing in Maine since 1978. It is always a pleasure to reconnect over the years with places that are close to our hearts. Biddeford Pool is no exception. Last night, and tonight, we enjoyed our meal at your restaurant. From the clam chowders, to the steamers (which I particularly like because there was a time when you could get the clams yourself 1980), the excellent Crab Cake Sandwich and especially the blueberry pie. What a pleasure to be able to eat outside and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Thanks to our American friends. Once again, we had a very nice vacation. Louis.

The lobster rolls are a bit on the pricey side and somewhat small, but they're very fresh. It's a counter-service restaurant, but they have a lovely outdoor area at the back with tables that overlook the ocean. While you can't have alcohol on the premises, they do offer some refreshing blueberry sodas from Maine in the fridge, which were quite tasty. It's a great place for a quick lunch, especially if you're heading to or from the nearby beach.

This charming deli market serves the local community and summer visitors of Biddeford Pool. It boasts a stunning setting, complete with numerous covered picnic tables and a few Adirondack chairs. With beautiful views, delicious food, and a very welcoming staff, it's a fantastic spot to enjoy a meal.

The lobster roll was delightful, perfectly seasoned and served on a toasted bun. I only wish the portion was larger given the market price. The Gifford's Maine Black Bear dessert features a vanilla ice cream base swirled with black raspberry syrup and chocolate candies filled with liquid black raspberry. It was a delicious treat that you must try. The view from the back patio was stunning; I felt like a million bucks soaking in the scenery along with the fantastic food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even opening an additional register to expedite ice cream orders due to the long line for food.
