Porta Via Beverly Hills

I was disappointed with this restaurant, similar to La Scala next door. The food was only okay - suitable for a quick meal while shopping nearby, but not worth visiting as a dining destination. The calamari fritti was bland and average, and I would have sent it back if it weren't for not wanting to embarrass my friend who invited me. The salad was unremarkable. The zucchini pasta was tasty, but too watery. Despite the high prices, likely due to the expensive Beverly Hills rent, the quality of the food didn't match the cost. The service, however, was excellent.

Savory food, friendly staff, and I love the booths inside. Staff is friendly. Sometimes a little unorganized but never stops me from coming back. Love this place

The restaurant offers a choice of seating either inside or outside, which is nice. The use of china plates, quality utensils, white tablecloths, and napkins enhance the dining experience. The food was good, but could use a bit more seasoning as it seemed a bit bland to cater to a wider audience. I ordered the Neapolitan Omelet while my dad had the Bistro Burger, which was overcooked from the requested medium-rare but still edible. We both enjoyed the fruit smoothies, although they were a bit small for the price. Overall, it was a good experience despite the high prices, with a non-alcohol brunch for 2 people totaling $72 before tip.
