Villa Rixdorf - Berlin

We went in because it was full of Germans a good sign. The waitress spoke English (albeit with an American accent), and the menu was available in English. The bill (inclduding drinks) was €60.

This is an excellent place for traditional German fayre to excellent trips. with beautiful weather, sitting inside and outside on the terrace. the environment is also quite busy in an interesting part of berlin. we have eaten and returned here several times because the quality of the food and the pleasant environment. probably recommended to book what we used to do on the same day, where we were warmly welcomed. I had the sourded and my partner the bark liver. both were delicious, traditional and were served immediately with generous portions. my partner ordered a second beer, and that is where the complications began as they brought two beers to the table after the waitress had actually realized that only one was needed. we were a little intimidated, despite the waitress who cleared the job at the bar. Unfortunately, no one apologised, which meant that we felt quite undetected as customers. puddings were good, but absolutely unexcepted. we would go back because of the quality of food and its authentic German quality, but the service was best disorganized and it would be hard to say that we felt like appreciated customers. to like a lot, but could be better.

This is a detached house in Neukölln, which has character. the natives come here and sit for hours. we had a long evening (3 hours) eating and chatting, just having a wonderful time! this facility also accepts credit card. not so often. in Germany. eating is classic German style and in good quantities. the calf liver and icy bone were excellent. this is also a great place for larger groups.

Also in a heavy rainstorm the covered beer garden was nice to sit, and we had the feeling we were on the land. large selection of carvings, very friendly staff.

If I could add zero stars I would. We ordered food and beer and nothing happened. We told two more waitresses and still nothing. After more than 30 minutes we left. Avoid!
