Trattoria La Cenetta - Berlin

We found this place just off the main shopping road in Berlin. It was terrific. The food was great and the service was great as well. If you are looking for a break from pork knuckles on your next sojourn to Berlin and want to avoid the local tourist traps this is the place to go.

What an amazing restaurant. Extremely friendly and accommodating. We dinned as a total of 11 and the service was amazing. Food was delicious. If you travel to berlin this restaurant is a must vist.

Unassuming restaurant just off one of Berlin's main drags , the food here is worth a detour. Nice bread with dipping oil offered straight away , a good menu and a few blackboard specials were on offer. We ate fresh asparagus soup and garlicky, buttery snails.. then tagliatelle Mari e Monte with mixed fish special for TT. All were excellent...well cooked and presented..special mention for the mixed salad that came with the fish...the highest quality possible. To finish a lovely almond semi freddo made by the owner. A really good meal and plenty of regulars is always a reliable sign. TT recommends wholeheartedly.

No fuss, simple good food. Under new ownership, some home made options. Very friendly service. Decor is a little old fashioned but food is unpretentious and great quality. Pizza is also excellent. I Highly recommend it.

We have been to "La cenetta" twice. The first time we were a bit disappointed. Pizza wasn't good, but pasta wasn't bad. I didn't want to go back but for several reasons we ended up there again and we were actually pleased with it. Both times the service was amazing!! We were very welcomed since the beginning even though sometime the kids were making too much noise. As soon as you get in you get bread with oil and salt and a tomato bruschetta. The first time the bruschetta was terrible, but this time was actually good. This second time we all had pasta (or risotto) and caprese. Eveything was tasty and we were all very happy. Finally we found polite people in a restaurant in Berlin, this is a big plus.
