This place does not look of much, from the outside, but when you enter, you are met be utter friendlyness, and its very cosy. I ordered from a weekly menu, some gyros in a white wine sauce, and it was one of my best greek...meals ever. But note that they do NOT accept international creditcards, so bring some cash.
The food was not very good at all. Halloumi salad was like something you get on a supermarket buffet, except even worse and gyros plate was overburdened with cheese, heavy and tasteless. The staff was at least friendly, even if none of them really spoke...any english. If you like that sort of thing then by all means go there but we probably can't recommend it.
Great food, good service. Nice family-style atmosphere. Overall highly recommended. Grilled lamb kabob we excellent.
My partner and I wandered in here on a rainy evening for some wine an appetizers. We were craving greek food and it was an excellent surprise to find such a lovely place! We had some phenomenal grilled calamari, wonderful lamb sausages, and grape leaves...in a tomato sauce. The house red that we ordered was well priced and it was a very nice, medium to light, greek red that went well with the calamari as well as the meat. This resturant is a bit off of the beaten tourist track so those without a working knowledge of german may be thrown off (I’m not sure if they have an English menu, for example). But if you know greek cooking the menu is not too difficult to figure out. Oh, and best of all, they ended the meal with delicious complementary greek cookies. We look forward to coming back for a full dinner!
