Straßenbahndepot Heiligensee - Berlin

Lovely setting in the old tram station, converted to a restaurant and small garden centre. We had a family table and the menu suited all 4 adults and 4 kids. The service and food was v good.

I have been living in Berlin for almost 6 years now and can honestly say that after trying a lot of different places nowhere comes close to competing with the Strassenbahndepot in Heiligensee (which has compelled me to write a review! . Firsty, and most importantly to me, the meat served is Neuland fleisch which means you can be 100% certain that you eat quality meat from animals who have had an ethical life outdoors. Naturally you have to pay a little more (do you ever ask yourself where the food on your plate comes from? , but the taste and tenderness of the food is astounding. The wine selection is terrific. The waitors will expertly guide you through the menu. The serivce is five star. The menu speaks for itself (you can see this online and every meal I have tried over the past year has left me extremely satisfied. If you are someone who just wants as much food on their plate for as little money as possible then don 't go here. But if you simply love good food, want to try something new and care about what you eat then try the Strassenbahndepot, you will not regret it!
