We are regulars at Pino. Sometimes for food or a snack or sometimes only for a glass of Vino. The attention we receive is the same no matter how small our consumption is. We enjoy the atmosphere, great vines and staff. However the could improve...in table set up an decoration as is is a bit aged especially inside
I haven't seen any italian there. They all had an accent when speaking italian. Unfriendly service and low quality food
We celebrated the birthday of my wife at this unique place and this year we came back again for the same reason. Chef Pino Puglisi, Lorenzo and Alino welcomed us in their unique cordiality and we started our dinner with a glass Lombardic...Franciacorta sparkling wine and a wellmixed Negroni cocktail. As first course we had a seafood and fish plate from the display refrigerator, paired with a bottle of chilled, fine balanced Trentino Alto Adige Sanct Valentin Sauvignon Blanc Further highlights have been the homemade pasta aldente and two sautéed eggs topped with thin slices of shaved white truffle from Alba. We accompanied these dishes with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon red wine from our favorite Sicilian winery Tasca d’Almerita. To the meat dishes we preferred to drink a fullbodied classic style Amarone red wine with characteristic bouquet from Cantine Giacomo Montresor. As birthday surprise Pino presented a special, for my wife created, birthday dessert. We enjoyed it together with a bottle of Linticlarus Rosenmuskateller from Alto Adige Tiefenbrunner vineyards. We finished the birthday celebration dinner with espresso and a Grappa Di Brunello Riserva from Altesino. To visit our favorite Berlin Salumeria is always a must when we travelling to Berlin
Because of an exhibition in Berlin, I visited the Salumeria da Pino two times for dinner with business friends. I want to show my friends the excellent quality and variety of the offered delicacies, as well as the incredible selection of Italian wines and spirits....The extremely lovely Padrone Pino Puglisi and Lorenzo were satisfying all our culinary desires and the served wines including Grappa digestives have been of best Italian provenance. We started our dinners once with a bottle of delicately fruity and minerally Winkl Sauvignon Blanc white wine from the Terlano DOC area and once with a bottle of La Scolca: Gavi dei Gavi Etichetta Nera Gavi DOCG Piemont. This prestigious “Gavi dei Gavi” has an intensive character, is harmonious well balanced and offers a surprising freshness with notes of almond and hazelnut. What a perfect start for the warming up. As appetizer, we had a mixed plate with olives, best San Daniele airdried ham, and thin slices of Tuscany Lardo salume and rosemary flavored boiled ham with crusty bread selection and extra virgin olive oilsalt dip. After this, we picked out several delicious seafood based dishes from the welldecorated display refrigerator. Our further extremely tasty delicacies and homemade pasta dishes we paired with different bottles of highclass Italian red wines. Cabernet Sauvignon Sicilia Contea di Sclafani IGT from Tasca d’Almerita Tenuta Regaleali. This pure Cabernet Sauvignon has ripe cassis fruit but also a fresh, leafy component that makes for terrific balance. The tannins are juicy and firm and the bouquet shows dark fruit aromas but it is also characterized by green tones of Mediterranean herbs and black olives. La Spinetta Vigneto Bordnini Barbaresco made from Nebbiolo grapes. This red wine is floral and fruity with bright red fruit, fine tannins and stunning elegance, a thoroughly enjoyable Barbaresco. Angelo Negro e Figli Angelin Nebiollo grapes based red wine from Langhe Piedmont’s location near the Alps. A soft flavored, rightly tannic wine with intense ruby red colour and orange highlights with fresh bouquet, hints of wellbalanced rose, blackberry and blackcurrant. Finally yet importantly we had a bottle of Fattoria Le Pupille 'Saffredi' Maremma Toscana. This fruit driven, jammy blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot with deep red color is filled with ripe and plethora of spices and typified by Bordeaux style. After these excellent culinary delights and wines, we finished the dinner with espresso and a superb grappa digestive La Centenara Grande Riserva Anni from Destilleria Aqvileia. It is must for me truly to come again to my favorite Berlin culinary living room
