I was very happy and the result is here! a real pleasure. this place is so tiny and so pleasant. it was hard to pamper your spirit with this big cocktail list, but fortunately the waitress was here to help. tell us what they expect from a cocktail, and we'll suggest something to them and you know what? everyone was thrilled by the cocktail that was presented to them. they also suggested a nice restaurant and helped us book a table. an urgently recommended, this place. they will not be disapointed
! it is easy to overlook the hidden entrance and the bar appears closed from the outside. as soon as they enter, they will be transported to a bijoux 1920’s talkeasy. the mood is intimate, the lighting is low and the cocktails are strong. the owner is set directly by a wes Anderson, polite, charming and quirky shows a jealous for around and science fiction, armed with a crocodile carafe. we enjoyed our evening very much! if this is their first time to visit to a weekday to maximize their chances, a rare spot at the bar or table.
This intimate bar fits a maximum of 15 people. the owner only lets them in if there is enough space, as he wants everyone hosing has a great experience without getting spoiled by a lot. are they ready to throw a back on the 1920s. the experienced...Mixologe will take time to offer them the perfect cocktail. all the drinks I had were very special and perfectly balanced. they are each around €13, which is worth the price definitiw. a unique experience!
We were on the way to a different place and stumbled into this adorable bar. It 's beyond amazing. A tiny space, very eclectic and magical owner/manager. The Daiquiri was by far the best I have ever had (and we travel to Havana quite a bit)....The Mai Tai was heavenly. The Champagne served out of magnums. The decor is just perfect. Every little detail from the clever signs to the armadillo bowl with fresh oranges. We are so, so in love with this place. Everybody we met at the bar was so, so special. This is NOT a drinking hole for loud tourists. This is a local institution for locals and if you are allowed to join the magic be happy and honored. I have read some negative reviews here which I loved the place was just not for these people. I was told off multiple times for being, let 's just say leisurely dressed in my Golden Goose shows and linen shirt. The clients here wear jackets and ties. The gentleman next to us had been coming here for 30 years! The wonderful coulee next to him for 20 years that is considered a relative new comer! We stayed till the end and were even offered a glass of champagne on the house. We can 't wait to come back. There is room for maybe 20 people max so yes, if the owner doesn 't think that you will fit in with the locals he will tell you. You can consider that rude if you want. We think it preserves something so very, very special from staying very, very special. I would vote this over Harry 's Bar or El Floridita or any bar as my favorite bar ever and doubt I will ever come across anything like this again. So be prepared to be rejected and if so, don 't be angry. They just try to put together a magical group of people each night that will leave as live long friends. THANK YOU FOR MAKING US FEEL SO WELCOME. Literally in love. Old School Berlin. xoxo
