Restaurant Epavlis - Berlin

For every occasion the right location. responsible environment. menu with interesting Greek oriented and German touch (there is also leber) which are very loving and decorative. flinke ,nette bedinung, who always find for a conversation time and also know and describe the une of their card well. in the summer they can spend beautiful hours in the lovingly landscaped and well maintained garden.

As always a great evening, with excellent eating, a nice service and a great atmosphere. we like to come back. thanks

We had a table for eight people on 29.07.2017, 20.00 clock reserved. After we arrived on time, our orders were recorded and the drinks were served shortly afterwards. the appetizers also quickly came to the table, but then we had to wait until shortly before 22.00 clock for our main dishes. during this waiting period never came an operation to our table to ask for the understanding that it takes longer with the food. in the opposite: at our side table came approx. 20 minutes after us a couple who got all served quickly and had long gone when we had to wait as ordered and not picked up. Even if we asked the service several times when we were allowed to pay for it, we did not receive any excuses. when our food was finally brought, a part of the food (gyros with pommes frittes) was not even properly heated. Given the advanced time of the watch and because we had two children with us, we decided to take it very quickly because of the unchallenged situation, how long will a re-improving of the food take to take everything just behind us. Conclusion: communication from restaurants to its guests should be improved. hot dips should of course be a question. the evening in the epavlis was underground, which is why we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Wir hatten am 29.07.2017, 20.00 Uhr, einen Tisch für acht Personen reserviert. Nachdem wir pünktlich ankamen, wurden unsere Bestellungen aufgenommen und auch kurze Zeit später die Getränke serviert. Die Vorspeisen kamen ebenfalls schnell auf den Tisch. Dann mussten wir aber bis kurz vor 22.00 Uhr auf unsere Hauptspeisen warten. Während dieser Wartezeit kam nie eine Bedienung an unseren Tisch, um einmal von sich aus um Verständnis zu bitten, dass es mit dem Essen länger dauert. Im Gegenteil: an unserem Nebentisch kam ca. 20 Minuten nach uns ein Pärchen, das alles zügig serviert bekam und längst gegangen war als wir noch immer wie bestellt und nicht abgeholt warten mussten. Selbst als wir mehrfach die Bedienung fragten, wann wir mit dem Essen rechnen dürfen, erhielten wir nichtssagende Entschuldigungen. Als unser Essen schließlich gebracht wurde, war ein Teil der Speisen (Gyros mit Pommes frittes) nicht einmal richtig erwärmt. Angesichts der vorgerückten Uhrzeit und weil wir zwei Kinder bei uns hatten, entschieden wir uns wegen der nicht einzuschätzenden Lage wie lange eine Nachbesserung der Speisen dauern wird, das Ganze nur noch schnell hinter uns zu bringen.Fazit: Die Kommunikation seitens des Restaurants gegenüber seinen Gästen sollte schleunigst verbessert werden. Warme Speisen sollten eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein. Der Abend im "Epavlis" war unterirdisch, weshalb wir das Restaurant nicht empfehlen können.
