Pastis Centre Francais - Berlin

In the beige of a business stay in berlin I chose the hotel de france for the overnight stay. not least because of the attached French restaurant.Accommodation opening the restaurant at 17:30 o'clock. around 18:00 I entered the restaurant, which was still empty at this time, in which a coworker was just busy covering tables. to my question, if it was already open, I was driven to expect a society. In the meantime, two more employees were in the restaurant. to my question whether I could recommend something near me, I got no answer anymore.According to the hotel's recipe, this was probably not a single case that hotel guests were wiped out. Conclusion: so good the kitchen can't be here that I would start another visit. a few minutes walk away there is a beautiful Croatian restaurant, which had also a company, but nevertheless was able to serve other guests just as courteous. when I came back to the hotel about 19:30, nothing was still visible from the company. but still plenty of 2 tables and 4 tables not covered in the window. who can afford it!

The restaurant is located a little outside the center, but with the u6 easily accessible. eating is very good, only the frog legs as gruß aus the kitchen are not everyone's taste.

The kitchen offers a very good quality. therefore the four points. the service didn't make any accountable impression. cross over the table plate and grab over the heads of guests have noticed negatiw. but very friendly staff make up for it.

Looking for a French restaurant where we could get a fish soup we landed in pastis, as my favorite French le pistou unfortunately gave up. the suppe was just as I had imagined it with croutons and rouille and be good for it, but for 7.90 euro the portion was simply too small, but excellent. the flammkuchen" Rüdi",with lachs and ruccola afterwards, also tasted very good, but compared with other flammpie in the city at the same price, this was only half a portion. and the glass wein was also filled under the marker line .shade, pity that leaves a rather negative impression.To reach that guests are regaining that they are satisfied, heard about the portions offered.

We were recently four to eat a 5-course menu there. that was excellent and we had a wonderful evening. the ambiente with many black and white photographs was very pleasant and there is a large terrace. the service was very attentive and nice.
