But: their experience depends on the service. two times recently been there: the first time with an amazing server. second time with servers that don't even explain. the menu for them, even did not give them recommended wine. the first time staring, the second time staring. sad.
I am a great fan of dieter meier who brought me first in the restaurant. I took my hesitant son with me and we were on an expedition in berlin. In short, I've never eaten anything like that. it's just fantastic. I also had a glass puro cabernet that complicated the bark. all served a fresh bowl mixed salats. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Had a great evening here, the meat dishes are excellent and a nice selection of weeps. the selection is not wide, but if you enjoy argentinian with creativity, then this is the place.
We went because we read all those reviews that ride on the quality of the bark. we went on a weekday as couple and were placed on a tiny table on the wall, although the restaurant was only full. as we started. the beef tartar, who was extremely good, so the place still gets points. the whole xperince was not amazing and the main courses a disapointment, maybe we are, but we prefer our meat grilled and not cooked as well as not served in thin slices as it was cold due. the accompanying sauces for example the chimichurri was far from the original recipe that I know from an Argentine friend.
Ojo is great. Their approach, business model, wine and meats. It's really a true find for Argentinian meats in Berlin. BUT: Your experience depends on the service. Been there twice recently: First time with an amazing server. Second time with servers that didn't even explain...the menue to you, neither did they give wine recommendations. First time stars, second time stars. Sadly.
