MarienBurgerie - Berlin

I got the Gorgonzola burger which I can’t recommend at all. Honestly it tasted like a McDonald’s hamburger to me. I did like the atmosphere and the potato wedges, but I would go elsewhere for a burger.

Small, small place, but so what?!? After watching her cooking for a minute in the small kitchen, I KNEW she definitely was a master at burger-craft! Takes a cook to know a cook Not busy weekday), seems like more take-out orders than sit-in...orders. Had the MarienBurger, a bacon-double-cheese burger with LTO and house sauce....BIG!!! Each patty is I should have ordered the SnakeBurger, which is a single version of the MarienBurger...but I was able to eat it all, along with very good sweet-potato frites. Big bonus: She has American cheese (along with other types of cheeses), but, in my humble opinion, the only cheese that belongs on a burger is American cheese...NOT cheddar, emmentaller, bleu, raclette, butterkase, gouda, brie, halloumi, feta, gruyere, etc.... Definitely want to go back here!!

Burgers are good! Good range of options for selection. Recommend to go for the sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. Price range is about per pax.

Simple, high-quality burgers (including many veg options), fries, wedges, beers. Would be back anytime. Can't really sit down just a few bar stools, seems very popular locally.
